This is where you start. The primary goal of this level is to make sure that you have proper movement patterns. To do this I use the Functional Movement Screen by Gray Cook.

Although your training may look the same as everyone else on the surface, your goal with this program is to develop all your basic movement patterns.

Once you accomplish this, you just maintain it and  move on to level 2.

Level 2
The goal of level 2 is to accomplish a correct strength ratio balance. Here I use Mike Boyle, Mark Ripptoe, personal experience & others ratios of what strength balance is. You try to balance your pushing ability with your pulling ability, and so on. To achieve level 2 is to achieve total body strength balance.

Level 3
The goal of level 3 is to further balance, this time using strength & power. Kelly Baggett & Inno-Sport lay the foundation for finding the correct balance here.
While the other two levels seek to achieve balance and then move on, this level actually works more like a teeter-totter. Once one is achieved, the other is then worked on. This becomes a see-saw of high-end development that can help with furthering athletic development.
